If you have a lot going on in your life and managing your chores is something that makes you anxious then here is the simple, but tried and tested idea:

  • Write down all the jobs you have to do in the day on a piece of paper.
  • Then next to each job write down roughly how long it will take you to complete the job and be realistic about it
  • Also don’t cram things in unnecessarily as this will make you even more on the edge!
  • Just prioritise the tasks based on the time you have in the day and leave the rest for the next day and so on.

Hope this helps you the way it has been helping me. Since I’ve been following these steps it has made a massive difference to my life, and now I have more time to do things I couldn’t fit in my daily routine.

Pineapple and Cream Dessert

Healthy and Simple Dessert using Pineapple

This yummy, delicious, healthy and simple dessert or a snack recipe can take only 5 minutes or less to prepare.

You need only 2 ingredients:

  1. Tinned pineapple 250g (or fresh)
  2. 150ml of double cream (or single if you’re very health conscious)

Method:

Cut the pineapple chunks into smaller pieces and mix the double cream:

Voila! (done)

Your simple and delicious snack or desert is ready to satisfy your sugar cravings in a healthier way.

It is interesting to see how many of us have got no clue about what ‘affiliate marketing’ is, yet most of us are shopping online by clicking on affiliate links.

The most recent and interesting example happened to my very own self only a couple of days ago:

I went to see my General Practitioner (GP) for a routine check up. As recently being on a high dose of affiliate marketing, I was desperate to pour out my wisdom of affiliate marketing to anyone and everyone. I was even tempted to convert people I was meeting in the lifts, or colleagues at the reception of a health centre, with whom it would have been very strange to talk about this out of the blue, this was one of the reasons which refrained me from pouring out my excitement, as well as being labelled as ‘nerdy’ (which I think I am, but no one else needs to know that, apart from myself and yourself)!

Shocking Discovery


Anyway, I went to see my GP, who coincidentally happens to be an extremely friendly doctor, and him knowing that I also work in the same field as him, he sometimes even asks ‘ME’, what should he be recommending me in terms of medication! it was very nice and ‘friendly’ of him, but out of friendliness he, I think (in my opinion) forgets that he is the GP not me! Anyway on this occasion, you can imagine what might have happened? OK, I’ll let you visualize, while I explain….

To be honest I was more interested to share ‘our’ (he knows my hubby too) venture of online marketing than getting the routine check up done. As I was telling him, he got more and more excited (as if, it was his own business)! I told him what kind of stuff we were doing, e.g. building a website, writing contents, blogs, reviews etc. He continued listening to me, with full interest and after ten minutes of my ‘hyper active speech’ of affiliate marketing, he interrupted me with the following question…

“Is affiliate marketing something to do with mindset and motivation?” because he is very aware that I have personal interests in these areas. At this very moment I felt I must have been talking in a different language in excitement and I didn’t realise that he hasn’t understood me.

Anyway, after this experience with my GP, it helped me think and I put myself in the GPs shoes (only imagined) that how many other business terms out there do I really know about? If they don’t concern me, would I really be learning about them? My honest answer would be NO! The only time that I’ll actually be looking into something, is, if I have a personal interest or benefit.

I can honestly admit, that I never knew about affiliate marketing until my burning desire to change my lifestyle really encouraged me from within, and hit the Google search engine of “how to make money online”, the rest is history.

So Let’s get into the actual purpose of this article, which is ‘What is Affiliate Marketing’?


Affiliate Marketing is one of the major business idea of the Online World. Affiliate marketing is when you promote other peoples or companies products on your website by reviewing, testing, comparing or via personal recommendation.
Often you’ll need to write blog posts and reviews to discuss pros and cons before publishing them on your website.

Think of 10 things you are grateful for at bedtime, just before you sleep and the first thing when you wake up.

This will allow you to leave your subconscious mind on a positive vibration, which results in manifestation of your desire. The key is that the more you are grateful, the more you will attract of that gratitude.

The Benefits of Amla

Want to look and feel healthy inside and out? Here is the secret to my optimum health…..

I’ve been using the amla powder for a while now. I just wanted to make sure this is actually a ‘supper food’ as it claims to be before recommending to anyone else.

What is Amla?

Amla is called an ‘Indian gooseberry’ in English, but widely known as amla or amlaki in Urdu and Hindi as the it’s grown mainly in India and Pakistan. Amla is known as the powerhouse of nutrients.

Here are some of the benefits of amla:

  • Cure anaemia due to high iron content
  • Amazing for colds and flu because it is loaded with vitamin C
  • Super tonic for your scalp and hair
  • It stabilises you blood sugar
  • High in fibre

Best way to consume Amla

The best way to consume the amla is to have it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. It is better to have it as fresh amla juice to get the maximum benefits.

However, it is not always possible to get the fresh fruit, so the next best thing is the amla powder. I tend to buy the amla powder and take a full teaspoon first thing in the morning with a glass of water.

It is an uncommon balance of sweet, sour, pungent and bitter flavours but nothing unbearable. I actually quite like the after sweet taste. You can also buy it as a dry amla from any Indian/Pakistani grocery store.

As the fruit is very hard to grind at home and doing so, I had broken my grinder once! Therefore, I tend to buy it in a powder form. You just need to make sure it’s the pure amla powder; no other ingredients are added to it.

If you are unable to find it in powder form, I’d get the dry amla and soak it overnight. I’d take the stones out in the morning before blending it in the smoothies.

For those who are not too keen in its strong sour taste, you can consume it this way. I used to have it like that when I first started to consume it.

End of the day the choice is yours.

My skin looks flawless and vibrant from within. I truly believe that the consumption of amla powder has really enabled my even skin tone.

The amla fruit is really good for the nails as its high is calcium.

I also apply the amla paste to my hair roots which enables the hair growth, stops the hair falling, keeps the original colour, conditions and moisturises the scalp.

How to Self-Motivate Yourself to Achieve ANY Goals in Life

We can spend up to half of our working day going through our email inbox, making to-do lists, feeling frustrated and unproductive.

Self Motivation is the Key

A key part to achieving anything in life is building a self-motivation AND the only thing, which contributes to achieving your goals is the self motivation.

Self motivation is the first stepping stone to achieving any goal in life. In order to build the self motivation, we first need to consider how big and significant our goal is.

The goal has to be big and powerful enough to create self-assurance and self-confidence to go after it and smash every bit of the success out of it!

If you have a clear vision about where you are heading. The process itself will motivate you to stay consistent and fulfill your desired vision.

Once you have established that the goal is clear and achievable. It is important to be aware of any set backs you may encounter through the process.

Therefore, being resilient, believing in yourself and in your qualities and positive self talking often to yourself that;

“This one hurdle is not going to stop me from achieving my goals and dreams.”

When planning to achieve a specific goal, consider the following 5 steps:

1. How specific is my goal? Did I consider even the smaller steps?

As taking every tiny detail into consideration will enable to plan the process at every small step, which consequently will help you get closer to your goals and dreams.

2. How important is it?

Your goal has to be bigger than yourself in some cases to create that burning desire which will enable to move forward leaps and bounds. Remember to make it fun and interesting as this will help you keep going.

3. How committed are you?

You need to be very honest with yourself and giving yourself a regular feedback will help you analyse the situation and modify the process if needed.

4. How practical is it to achieve this?

Always be aware of the complexity of it – break down the process even further if required. Remember the smaller the steps the more likely they are achievable, rather than bombarding yourself with a massive chunk of work and get bog down with it.

5. What is the time limit of achieving it?

As you plan the process, it is useful to set time limit to each step and set a deadline for the over all achievements. Go with your intuition but remember to make it exciting. You can even visualise your outcome of how you would feel and how your life would be like once you have achieved this goal!

Urgent/important Matrix tool

When planning for the process, it may be useful to use tools like urgent/important matrix to help you plan even further by prioritising your tasks.

The urgent/important matrix will enable you to see the bigger picture of your overall objectives. It’s totally your choice if you want to hand write it or do it digitally.

One of the benefits of this matrix is that it enable you to focus on a single step at a time. This helps reduce stress and anxiety and enables you to focus on the most important objective at a time.

The urgent/important matrix will also help you to see if you need to outsource any of the tasks.

Best Method to Clean Your House

You will never feel cleaning your house is a massive chore if you follow my tip below. This is my own tried and tested method. It works superbly and makes me feel great as I always come into our home knowing and feeling it is always clean.

Can you spare just 15 minutes a day? If YES, then you will love this tip.

The 15 Minutes Method

If you just allocate 15 minutes per day to clean or tidy ONLY one area of your home, (minus cleaning after using an area), your home will always be sparkling and spotless.

The 15 minutes becomes an enjoyable task because you will know it’s not going to take you very long, but one part of your home will be sparkling.

If the method is applied as I’m suggesting then on a weekly basis (7 days) 7 parts or areas of your home will be looking dashing. It will not tire or bore you – actually it gets enjoyable 🙂

If you have kids or pets, you may need to clean the area they’ve used or been into, but that shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes a day. Happy sparkling.

What to do When You Have Dry, Chopped and Tingling Lips

What to do when you have dry, chopped and tingling lips that you can’t stop licking.

I experienced this very same scenario a couple of years ago. I tried many things that I knew and researched about it, but nothing worked.

I got to a point when my lips were so sore and I was finding it difficult to talk!

Got NO Help!

My GP was not recommending me anything effective so I had to go to Accident and emergency! No serious treatment was given there either as I expected.

Found the Solution by CHANCE

I was fed up and popped into my local ‘The Body Shop’ and asked the shop assistant for some advice. She kindly showed me some lip butter. I picked one up and bought it, but I was thinking it might be same as the rest of the treatments I had.

I took the lip butter home and put it on my lips. Straightaway I started to feel the tight and tingling sensation from my lips were slowly fading away.

I felt good!

So I applied the lip butter again at night time before bedtime. What a relief it was in the morning. I felt my usual self was back. I was in a good mood after a long time.

What to do when someone stammers?

Reasons why someone stammers:

There are many reasons why someone stammers, stutters or is dysfluent. The situation may arise when the environment is noisy, busy, frightening, exciting, tiring, competitive, there may be interruptions and lots of talking, as well when the child is just learning the language and they have so much to say.

What sort of speaking situations can lead to more dysfluency?

  • Speaking to adults who talk very quickly.
  • Speaking while having to look high up to see the listener’s face.
  • Speaking when you think you will be interrupted.
  • Speaking to someone who is not really listening.
  • Speaking when you fear the consequences of what you say.
  • Speaking when you do not want to or when you have nothing to say.
  • Speaking when very tired, upset, or feeling unwell.
  • Speaking in a rush when you have a lot to say or a complex idea to express.

It can be difficult to offer support to others when we are anxious ourselves.

However, if a child stammers, trying to take the child’s view changes our focus and makes helping possible. Then we can do those things that make the child feel loved and wanted as well as all the little things that help in particular situations, for example:

  • Listening attentively
  • Responding kindly and uncritically.
  • Offering physical support when needed
  • Helping the child to feel safe.
  • Being encouraging.
  • Helping others understand our child.
