  5. Excel is absolutely a necessity in my line of work! I’m a psychology student and there are data we need to put in excel with regards to our psych tests and measurement tools. Albeit the output we do is pretty straightforward, knowing when to add a bit of color to my reports does make our otherwise routinary reports quite refreshing to see. Thanks for the refresher courses!

    • You’re spot on there Kevin – a bit of colour makes a big impact on the presentation of your spreadsheets. So the format font colour and cells shading feature is simple yet very effective.

  9. This is a well-explained tutorial! I want to freshen up on my excel skills, and this is a nice way to do it. Shading cells in color in Excel is a great tool. I can use it to make charts or columns look more attractive.

  11. I absolutely love excel, I started using it back in 2000 so it didn’t have as much customization as it does now and it was a little more complex but it is an amazing program. This is a great tutorial, very easy to follow along with. Thanks for sharing!
