  1. As usual a well-presented tutorial on the functions of excel. Albeit it’s a very basic function to carry out, there are many various ways of performing this function which you covered exceptionally well. Perhaps this is the first lesson I did not learn something new because it is such a basic and widely used function. I still enjoy watching just to make sure I didn’t miss anything and if at all else as a refresher. Thanks again Habib your tutorials are awesome to learn from.

    • Most definitely agree with you. The sum function is the most commonly used.

Many more lessons are coming. So keep an eye out for those. 🙂

      Wishing you all the best

    • Excellent Rob, happy to hear you have resolved 2 issues so far. Once you have completed the full 62 lessons I have on Excel on my website and YouTube channel, so far, then you will have learnt many new skills and probably solve many more issues you face when using Excel.

I recommend you subscribe to my YouTube channel to get alerts for all new lessons. I have big plans for many lessons on the full suite of Microsoft Office 365. All the best 🙂

  4. A really good, precise, step by step tutorial for anyone who wants to learn more about Excel. I do use Excel a lot, but I just remembered It wasn’t so easy to learn it when I just started. I find your way of braking it up and explaining every little detail way much better than the book I used to read than, back in many years. You make it very clear, very understandable and very followable (hmm, is that a word or I just made it up?)
Anyway, keep up the excellent work, I’m sure I’ll be back to see how it goes on!

  5. Many thanks for sharing your knowledge in a way that is so easy to understand. Iv’e tried to learn before from lessons on youtube, but because of my lack of understand about excel, I often didn’t know how to ask the right questions to find out how to do what I was trying to achieve.
I think I had better go through your lessons one by one, and put the information into practice so that I will remember it.

    Many thanks,

  13. Hi Habib,

Thanks for this video – Excel is a key business tool but there are a lot of nuances to trip people up. Understanding the differences between functions and formulas is such a key element of using data tools effectively.

Have you considered showing differences between Excel and Google sheets?

    Thanks!
