  1. I’s searching for an information on changing a date to different formats in excel due to certain requirements on my office project. It’s very easily described in the attached Youtube video. My task become easier now. Thank you.

  2. Sometimes I wish that the whole world would have the same symbols and formats. And it even don’t have to be my symbols and formats. I got used to the Euro eventually, didn’t I. 🙂
On the other hand, it would also get boring if there were no differences, I am afraid.
Anyway, it’s good Excel has a lot of formats to choose from. Thanks for the explanation, Habib.

  3. Hi Habib,

It’s a pretty easy one but still very useful. Different countries use different date formats, so it is actually a very important function to change the format of the date. Otherwise, it is very easy to make a mistake. For instance, “02/01/2020”, this date is 2 Jan or 1 Feb? It depends, it depends which country you are looking at.

    All the best,

    • Excellent addition you have made here Alex, this will clarify it even further – I love the example you have given. Hey you’re not after my job are you 😉 lol. Take care

  4. Again, a really easy to follow tutorial on how to change the date format in excel, good advice to change which country you want too as it can alter the way it displays.
    Thanks Habib.
