Hey Habib,
The Average function in Excel is a huge time-saver when compared to manual calculations. I appreciate you explaining the concepts and providing the instructions in a clear manner.

Thanks Michael.

Hi Habib,
I love to be here again to learn the average function in excel. This works well to know the average sales made for each product each month, and I cannot express my appreciation for today’s lesson.
With the previous lesson 2-4, I can now make a sales report to help my managers know how good we are doing for each product and compare it with other months. It’s a plus for my job. Thanks a lot!
Matt
You’re very welcome Matt – I’m very happy to hear you’re benefitting hugely from my lessons. This is the main reason I’m creating these free lessons, so individuals like yourself can benefit on a personal and professional level.

So much easier than trying to do a manual calculation in Excel for an average. I love how easy Excel can make things! 🙂
Hi Gareth,
That’s very useful to know. That was the main purpose of me creating these tutorials in the first place so everyone including my regular students can benefit from it too.
All the best

Another excellent tutorial. I’m sure students can easily understand
and complete their tasks by watching these videos.
Thank you for the compliment Pharaha – that is my aim, for any student to be able to watch my tutorials and understand, then carry out the necessary skills. The average function is very beneficial to workout the mean or average of a range of numbers within cells.
Habib (ICT Tutor)
Great lesson, Habib! Very informative. You make it very easy to understand and follow along with. Thank you.
Thank you Samantha. I try my best to make it as easy as possible, so all you have to do is follow the tutorial and keep on gaining valuable knowledge on all the excel functions.
Habib (ICT Tutor)
Awesome tutorial! Your slow and clear explaination makes people easily understand how to use an average command.
Practice makes perfect – real knowledge.
Thank you very much.

Great tutorial, the video really helped too. I can’t wait to see what else you have in store – Excel can be a bit of a minefield to navigate, especially when following the instructions and it still doesn’t work!
Start from lesson 1 Sharon – you will learn tons more if you complete all the lesson. I am in the process of writing many more tutorials.
I like where you said that you have to put in everything manualy because that’s how you learn. Practice makes perfect. You made it quite easy how to work out an average. Thank you
You are welcome.
Thank you
You are correct that if we practice writing the commands, then we will remember how to do them easier.
Thanks for showing how to use the average function. I really like the step by step videos. Keep it up.
Yes Greg, practice and understanding is the key to knowledge – I always tell my students this. I’m also sharing the same advice to all my visitors to our site.
